A new family

I have been very busy these days because i rented out my place to some other people. Since i dont live with my parents, I have so many rooms in the house that i dont realy need and it good to rent them out. Finnaly it is full after a month searcing for people. We have seven rooms total in the houses and i just need two rooms for myself and my sister. At first i thought it would be really hard too find five other people to share the house with me and my sister but it turned out ok that it is really easy to find renters in Calgary since my house is located right at downtown. There are two guys and three other girls living with us right now. It is actually very fun to have a family like this. We are all about the same age, range from 19 to 23 so it would be easy for us to live together. Some are going to shcool, the rest is having a job already. It is an advantage for me and my sister to live with them because we can practice English everyday after school. They are all Canadian so we can not speak Vietnamese at home. Other wise they dont understand what we are talking about. We usually get to hang out together on the weekend. We cook dinner together on Saturday night and play poker after dinner. We always have a lot of fun and good time.

As we can see that the weather is getting better and we can feel Spring in the air. Spring begins in the northern countries around the months of March, April, May.The northern hemisphere begins to warm significantly, causing new plant growth to "spring forth", giving the season its name. Snow begins to melt and everything is getting better after a horrible winter. Spring is my favourite time of the year. It is not too cold or too hot. It's cool (like Hassan:)). The spring season is cheerful and colorful, budding and blossoming with new life. It is a beautiful season that captivates the senses. You will get to see many flowers, especially the cherry blossom. The city will become "green" again and the world is coming back to life. Everyone is getting ready for Spring and Summer which are the best seasons of the year and i am very excited too. Although i will go back my country on July, i still want to spend the nicest time in Calgary. We have planned so many things to do already and i will try my best to achieve it because i don't want to miss the best seasons. We will go camping, canoeing...hiking and i hope everyone can enjoy the nice weather too especially in Calgary because it is not too long. It's Spring guys, enjoy it.

It is getting late and i dont think i can sleep tonight because i took a very long nap after shcool this afternoon. Just found this song. Listening to it bring me to the past. Flashback quickly shows me the beautiful memories, so lively, unforgettable.

Hi guys. I have not checked my blog for a while and today i have decided to tell you guys how to make Vietnamese salad rolls which is such a popular Vietnamese dish. It is not really difficult to make as many people think.
Depending on what type of rice noodle you get, you might either need to hydrate it in boiling water or just let it soak in hot water. Guess what, that's all the cooking you need!First,to begin assembling the roll, you have to hydrate the Vietnamese Rice Paper in a big pan filled with warm water. If you get the good rice paper, it will only take around 15-20 seconds to fully soften the paper. Second, take out of the pan and place on a plate. I like to put a piece of paper towel on top of the plate to absorb any excess water. Next, place a handful of rice noodle on the rice paper and add your fresh ingredients on top of the rice noodle. When I said shrimp, I don't mean raw shrimp. You can use the cocktail shrimp as these are already cooked. Then, wrap the salad roll as you would wrap a burrito. This is the trickiest part of the assembly. Practice definitely makes perfect so don't be disappointed the first few times when things don't look too pretty. Eventually you'll get the hang of it and you will be ready to serve these to your friends. If you dont want to make it but you want to try to see if its good or not, we have it at the vietnamese restaurant in University cafeteria. Enjoy guys.
